I like to have a lot of symbolism in the names of my charters based on their roles and personalities in the story. My main character's name is Evelyn "Evie" and I was going to make her last name be Stryver. I got the inspiration from Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities. I read it a while back, but I really love how Mr. Stryver's last name was used as symbolism(because he strived for excellence and recognition). My character is in some ways similar to this(she's an A student going to some big college things like that, tries way to hard), but would this be considered stealing or an allusion to Dickens' literature? I've never been in your situation but have friends that have. One of my friends lived with and had two kids with her man (they weren't married). Your story sounds similar to hers because she used to tell me how he would get involved with these get-rich-quick schemes or other issues and then when things wouldn't work out, he'd be down on himself. Also, she said he wasn't responsible enough (ex: she had to remind about the rent or other things that, as a man, he should've been on top of), lacked direction, had bad communication skills and much more. She tried talking to him about it and for a short period of time, it would seem like he was improving, however, the old behavior would always resurface. Then she got to the point where she got tired of feeling like she had a third child and started talking down to him because she said the respect for him was totally gone. Eventually, they ended things. Then after some time had passed, she heard he was dating and wanted a second shot to make things work for their kids sake. However, shortly after trying to make it work, she noticed that he still had the same bad qualities and realized that she made the best decision, from the beginning, by ending things. She said that she realized she couldn't live with a man who was like this and it was better for the kids if they were apart. She also said that if he changes, it should be because he wants to change and not because she keeps telling him over and over what he needs to do and not do. As of now, she met someone new who is totally opposite of her kids' father (in a good way). She said that if she hadn't gone thru the pain and let downs of their father, she probably wouldn't appreciate the new guy for what he has to offer. That was her experience. My advice would be to do everything your capable of doing to try and make it work. If you see you're the only one making an effort, then maybe you might want to explore parting ways with him. All you can do is control your end. He's a man and should step up, especially since he has someone like you who has his back. But if he can't see this now, then maybe he'll see it when you've really gotten fed up and find someone else who appreciates all that you have to offer. Good Luck!!

Okay so my hair is really hard to tame. I am mixed with 4 thing 15% chinese 15% Portuguese 40% black and then 20% indian. When I wash or wet my hair my hair has waves and when you comb it it has a little bit more tighter waves. But when I leave it to air dry or towel dry it is kind of poofy and I tend to hate it. Okay so i'm 15, starting to get a little bit overweight not obese, found out that meat gives you too much proteins than what your body needs and growing up you can develop cancer. i appreciate that i have found out all of that stuff when i'm still young as i wouldn't like to grow up with diseases and cancer, I read about vegetarianism and the advantages of it, I usually eat a lot of chicken but I don't admire chicken or love it so much, meat also is not necessary . and recently I have found out that they are slaughtering animals illegally in my country , not necessarily all meats but there was a video leaked of them hitting the cow on its head and then slaughtering the poor animal, also they kill animals in front of each other which in my religion is considered forbidden as animals also have feelings, and my aunt lives in the country side and grows her own food including chicken, and seeing her slaughter a chicken (legally) but the chicken was resisting and it looked awful, so I think being a vegetarian is good for me and not really that hard except for fish :\ fish is my favorite meat and the healthiest comparing to red meat and chicken (it has omega fats which are healthy and B12 vitamins) , and actually i like it because eating fish gives me nutrients that help my body and my hair too! I don't eat it regularly so maybe 2-3 times a month maximum and sometimes we can spend 3 months or so without fish so I don't eat it that regularly but turning into a vegetarian would be good unless mum decides to cook fish, okay i'm so talkative, bottom line .... if i eat fish would that be called semi-vegetarianism or what? I don't want to walk around saying i'm vegetarian because what matters to me is that I don't want to eat meat from a tortured poor animal and also for health reasons, are there vegetarians who eat fish? if so, what are they called?

Tara Ailsing is definitely the more cute! It's very different and I love the Irish feel - Tara means "eleveated place" and Ailising means "dream" in the Gaelic so they definitely work well together - very mythological :) However, they are also relatively normal names, so they won't stand out as really unique in a bad way! I feel Evelyn is either a name of an old woman or a baby as the name is making a come back.. Anastasia to me is a little bit tacky? Hi, I am from India. I got a new connection recently and I have not been able to access websites specific to region like www.gaana.com. The website is specific to Indian IP only and cannot access the website because websites detect I am from Sydney. ip2location.com traces my IP to the correct location in India but the website locate me to the wrong Australian websites. For example if I open www.yahoo.com I am transferred to Australia homepage. Even while doing a speed test I am given Australia servers to choose from by default based on nearest to my location setting. Declawing in no way lengthens an animals life. It is not done to benefit the pet but rather the owner. Declaws can be easily botched..a vet that is not experienced can end up making a cat hobble for life. I have seen this happen personally many times. Also, this surgery is basically synonymous to chopping the ends of a persons fingers off. If it comes down to euthanization or declawing..then I vote for declawing..but really this should NEVER be an either/or choice. If someone cannot deal with a cats claws..then they should not own a cat. Also, indoor cats can sometimes end up outdoors in which case they would have no defences.

My guy friend wont reply to my texts..?

I am in an interracial "relationship", he is black, indian hispanic and white...we have been together for 2 weeks. there's this pakistani guy i used to work with for about 7 months..we used to sit together in the same room, we were pretty close..we used to laugh together, make jokes, etc..even after we separated into different teams, we would hangout sometimes..go for coffee, walks, etc..but I have to tell u he was mean and rude at times..even though he used to "joke" with me..he used to jokingly call me "b****" (so many times), call me low level, make fun of indians, say im worth a trash can, make fun of south indians(which is what i am) and say they are dirty, degrade me,asked me to BUY him food, cigs, etc... But i liked him much that I tolerated all that...and I never scolded him or told him off..i was always humble to him...But he did like me he told me that..and as I said we used to hang out and were close than he was to any1 else in the company... last month he was terminated from the job...the last day he left he did not even hug me or shake my hand (can you believe that)..and didnt even take my email to keep in touch..i just cant believe this?? As i said we were close and had good memories and laughs and im struggling so hard to forget that and him..he even told me I was a good friend and all..I can understand that he follows his culture closely and maybe he doesn't want to keep relation with girls hes not gonna marry but at least he can Mail me as a friend right? I think you should try to go with the most classic names that you have on your lists. Classic, as opposed to trendy names will always be a hit! To this end I think Alexandra, Ava and Evie are lovely! I also like the name Blake. Clearly, you totally disagree with me but it's all a matter of opinion. I gave my daughter a classic name and I've received a lot of compliments on it.

What crime is committed if a friend that was keeping my horse sold it to an auction/kill buyer?

My friend volunteered to keep my horse on his property when we moved into town from the country. No boarding fee was ever discussed. We helped with chores, provided feed, and took care of the farm on multiple occasions. He got a new girlfriend in March, and for some God awful reason, they took my horse to an auction and sold her to the auction owner/kill buyer. After months of investigations, I found out she was ultimately shipped to Mexico for slaughter. I rode this horse for 20 years!!! The local police claim it is all civil(while I am pursuing a civil suit), but so many others told me that if not theft, he at least committed deprivation of property. As well as a misdemeanor for not notifying me he planned to move/sell my horse. I am really confused how so many different law enforcement officers have so many different views. Any input?? I'm not very keen on the whole hyphenated-names thing, I think it can be over the top. Why don't you add the second hyphen names as middle names and if the child chooses they can hyphenate later on. That's what I did (my parents christened me Hanna, with Louise as a middle name but when I got to about 14 I changed it to hyphenated Hanna-Louise and everyone calls me Hanna-Lou). It gives the kid a chance to have a choice.
