Guys, would you date an exotic girl?

would you date a girl that was hispanic, indian, asian, black etc? im asking this question because im sri lankan and find that white guys rarely ever approach me. while other races like black or hispanic guys have approached me. is it because i'm intimadating possibly or is it cause white guys just prefer white girls? i prefer all races and am open minded, but i've only dated non white guys. im rarely the type of girl to go out there and talk to a guy though. are white guys more shy?
