What do you think of this name?

I like to have a lot of symbolism in the names of my charters based on their roles and personalities in the story. My main character's name is Evelyn "Evie" and I was going to make her last name be Stryver. I got the inspiration from Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities. I read it a while back, but I really love how Mr. Stryver's last name was used as symbolism(because he strived for excellence and recognition). My character is in some ways similar to this(she's an A student going to some big college things like that, tries way to hard), but would this be considered stealing or an allusion to Dickens' literature? Thanks XP. And if you could recommend some last names that would sound good with Evie/Evelyn that would be wonderful!
